Ora o Restaurante Mundo by Fullest junta isto num só sítio, embora não com pratos típicos mas numa combinação improvável de cozinhas internacionais, conhecida que é esta paixão pela fusão do chef João Pupo Lameiras, o consultor da carta e responsável pelas da Casa de Pasto da Palmeira, do LSD ou do RO.
Situado num edifício recuperado do séc. XVIII, a cozinha multicultural do Restaurante Mundo propõe-nos de facto uma experiência verdadeiramente única. Num espaço que mantém o aspeto industrial do antigo entreposto comercial, numa decoração que combina a crueza fria do metal com o aconchego rústico das madeiras. Os retratos grifitados de mulheres de cada continente refletem o conceito cosmopolita e a música house soft torna o espaço bom para quem gosta de um ambiente agitados e cheio de energia urbana. À entrada, o bar permite-nos ir ambientando com este espaço eclético, ou mesmo ficar por lá a beber um copo acompanhado por uns petiscos.

And one of the ways I prefer to feel in another country is through its culture and gastronomy, whether tasting dishes that remind me of past trips or discovering delicacies that inspire me to a next destination. The Restaurante Mundo joins all this in one place, although not with typical dishes from a country but with an improbable combination of international cuisines, following the passion for fusion of the chef João Pupo Lameiras, the consultant of the menu and responsible for those of Casa de Pasto da Palmeira, LSD or RO restaurants.
Set in a building recovered from the 18th century, the multicultural cuisine of Restaurante Mundo offers us a truly unique experience. In a space that maintains the industrial look of the former commercial warehouse, with an interior design project that combines the cold crudeness of the metal with the rustic coziness of the woods. The graffiti portraits of women from each continent reflects the cosmopolitan concept and the soft house music turns it good for people that enjoys bustling atmospheres full of urban energy. At the entrance the bar let us start feeling the ambience of with this eclectic space, or even to stay there with some drinks accompanied by great “petiscos”.
